Pat Rohe, CSP
Principal / Co-Founder
Pat co-founded The Custom Group of Companies in 1985 with her business partner, Diane McGaw. For the past 31 years, Pat has helped to build Custom into one of the most highly regarded staffing firms in the industry.
As a fierce advocate for the staffing industry, Pat has held many roles within the New York Staffing Association, including president. She also served as chairwoman of the American Staffing Association and helped launch a certification program designed to educate recruiters on employment law. She passionately believes that recruiters should continue their education and become true counselors to job seekers and give the best informed advice possible.
When not at work or lobbying on behalf on the industry, Pat enjoys spending time with her three granddaughters. As a proud New Yorker, she also likes to take full advantage of the theatre and the ballet.
Ed Rasmussen
Chief Operating Officer
Ed Joined Custom Staffing as COO in June 2025. Prior to joining Custom Staffing Solutions, Ed Rasmussen spent the past 25 years with Williams Lea, a Business Process Outsourcing firm focusing on premier Investment Banks and Professional Services firms. In his latest role, Ed was Executive Vice President and Executive Committee Member reporting directly to the CEO. Ed managed a global portfolio of clients spanning across 27 countries, hundreds of operational sites, and multiple global delivery centers. As EVP, Ed was responsible for overall sector strategy, enabling sales growth and pipeline achievement, ensuring client retention, minimizing corporate risk while maximizing returns for the operations and partnering with functional teams to implement appropriate policies, internal controls, and reporting. Ed is an avid cyclist and sports enthusiast who lives in Bergen County New Jersey with his wife and son.
Christina Tabacchi - CSP
Director, Operations
Christina Tabacchi joined The Custom Group in 2012 as the Director of Operations. She is responsible for managing and leading the recruiting and operations team to source and match the best candidates in the marketplace and deliver superior service to clients. Christina began her career in the staffing industry in 2005 working as a recruiter for a national staffing firm, where she was quickly promoted to their strategic accounts & operations management team.
Christina graduated from the New York Institute of Technology summa cum laude with a B.A. in Hospitality Management and a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology. Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with her family and her one-year-old son keeps her busy!
Andrew Norton
Managing Director, Healthcare
Andrew joined The Custom Group of Companies in 2017. Prior to working with Custom he was a Branch Director for the New York office of a large Healthcare staffing company. Andrew has a proven track record in staffing including recruiting, training, management and business development. Prior to entering the staffing industry, Andrew managed a sales and marketing organization and fostered a culture that was ranked #1 Place to work for Millennials by Forbes Magazine.
